Feedback from Parents:

My husband and I wanted to take the time to rave about Warren Montessori School in Frisco. We are first-time parents, who both work full-time. Of course the thought of dropping our firstborn off at school at 12 weeks old was overwhelming. We did all of our research and visited approximately 15-20 programs in the Dallas metroplex. The minute we walked into Warren, I think we both knew it was the school we would choose for our son. Everyone was very warm, welcoming and friendly. We immediately felt at ease. The classrooms were very calm and peaceful, a very rare sight in infant rooms! The entire school is very clean and organized. There is wonderful security in place. Something I was consistently impressed with was their attention to detail. Even people we had not met directly knew who we were, our names, as well as who our child was. This alone gave me great ease that they closely watched who was coming in and out of the school at all times. If our son was absent, we would receive an email checking on him. I could call and check on our baby at any time during my work day. However, I felt so comfortable with him at Warren, that this only happened a handful of times. Our son was born early, and was at a greater risk of infection than a full-term baby. Warren went the extra mile trying to keep him from getting sick, separating him from other kids with runny noses as best they could, sanitizing, keeping him on his own blankets, etc. I genuinely cannot say enough about the Infant Program and its teachers. Everyday when we picked our son up, he was happy and well-attended to. His diapers were consistently changed. He never once developed a diaper rash, which I think is pretty rare. If my husband would not have been relocated out of the state, we would have kept our son there for years and years to come. We will miss Warren dearly. Thank you for loving on our son in our absence. We are forever grateful. If I could sum up in one sentence why to choose Warren, it is this: I never spent time worrying about my child while I was at work, and that is not only priceless, but a rarity.

-Sincerely, Laine and Dave Santamaria

"The toddler stage of development is one of the most crucial stages in a child's life. I have watched my daugther really begin to develop her personality and have seen her confidence build as a result of the Montessori environment. The school setting at Warren Montessori is unparalleled, and I feel that the teacher's focus on nuturing a positive attitude towards learning and creating a fun environment drives the child's ambition. Warren adheres to higher educational standards and montessori principles that instill the building blocks and foundational truths that influence in my child's life. I truly feel that Warren Montessori's teachers and staff have played a huge, positive, role in Katelyn's development.

"We are amazed each and everyday that our daughter comes home from Warren and shows us how much she has learned - spelling, counting, geography, reading, other languages - and she is only 5 years old! Simply amazing!".

"An employee that I had worked with at my corporate office referred Warren Montessori to me. I researched and toured many day cares, schools and Montessori's in the North Plano and Frisco area. I was a stay at home mom and finding someone else to care for my child, as well as education, is huge to me. Kevin and I toured Warren Montessori and met Mrs. Gregoria. Walking in I felt very welcome and everyone was very friendly. Plus, the school itself was very secured, clean and organized. Our son was with us during the tour. At the end of the tour he gave Mrs. Gregoria a huge hug. It touched my heart as he had already opened up and liked her. With all that, our son has been enrolled at Warren Montessori since October. The first week or two, Keagan would cry. But, now he tells me he likes his school and Mrs.Gregoria! After the holidays, Keagan will be moved into the next class. It is hard as we all have gotten attached to Mrs.Gregoria. But, I know Keagan is ready to further his education and take his next step by moving up a class. I appreciate everyone at Warren Montessori working with us. I will continue to refer friends and clients!"

"I have two very different little girls and what I appreciate most about Warren , is not only their undeniable love for my children, but how they treat each child on their own level from an educational standpoint. I was so impressed when after the first week of returning after a year off, my daughters primary teacher was able to tell me exactly where my child was from a learning standpoint. I knew, but I was so impressed that she knew too! They take the time to know each child’s abilities and to not clump them in an age group so they never get held back or pushed along without understanding the basics. My three year old can read and write basic words and has been able to spell her name before she was two. If she was in a ‘normal day care’ she would not have been recognized with the ability to develop at that pace. Also, it amazes me when I have visited other schools the difference that a Montessori approach makes. Order is something they strive for and at Warren it is a way of life and the children thrive! They learn to do things on their own as soon as they are able, and it makes them so happy to be independent. I want to thank the staff at Warren for all they do, everyday, where kisses and hugs are welcome every morning and every night from everyone. I love when I hear my daughters teacher call her class ‘her children’. It is the only place I truly trust my child. Thanks to the entire staff. You guys are the greatest and we all love you so."

"First of all, when we moved to Frisco 2.5 years ago, we went to 8 schools to find the best one for our daughter and absolutely thought Warren was the best choice. We even bought a home close to the school. From her first class with Mrs. Sarah to her last with Mrs. Belinda, we were thrilled with our experience. We found a home away from home for our child. What more could you ask for – a group of people to love your child and you loving the same group. I would recommend anyone to send their child to Warren. I know that every school may not be right for every child, but Warren was perfect for us!"

"My son attended Warren Montessori from the time he was 13 months old until he graduated at age 5. We had wonderful experiences with the school and our son loved being there! He started Kindergarten this year and has no problems adjusting! The teachers at Warren were so caring and did such a great job with him that I believe the foundation for being a great student has been laid. Thank you all!!"

"I found the class is very impressive. Every kid is focused on what he/she was doing. All the activities are designed to develop the skills like reading and writing."

"I cannot be happier with the educational experiences my daughter Nuha Omer is having. She constantly takes us by surprise with the things that she does and says. One moment she is talking about months of the year, days of the week and next she is explaining the seasons.

All of this from a two and half year olds mouth!

We came to the school very paranoid, apprehensive parents, having had a full time nanny in 2 ½ years, we were scared how she would adjust, eating habit, social skills but the teachers in her class T2 -Ms. Sara and Ms. Hedi have done everything to make it a smooth transition not only for Nuha but also for us as parents!

The interaction with the teachers has been excellent and they have been very loving, caring, and flexible and helped us through the time of frantic phone calls and constants questions. They are the best!

I had a lot of school searching : before found Warren Montessori and our experience so far been great! Tour entire staff also provides a very loving, nurturing, and respectful environment to the children. You have exceeded any expectations that we ever had of your school."

"My daughter has been enrolled at Warren for just over two years now. Before that I had her at a home-based daycare, which was wonderful, but I knew she was ready to start learning. She started out in one of the toddler classrooms, and I was amazed at how calm the children all behaved and how respectfully they treated each other. Her teachers and friends would all give her hugs when I’d pick her up to go home, and she was never upset to leave me when I brought her to school in the mornings, so I knew she felt right at home. I really like that Warren tries to keep the children together in the same group, for the most part, so she really has a tight-knit circle of friends who have all grown up together. When she moved into her primary class, I was amazed at the change in her confidence level. She came home talking about astronomy, the digestive system and rainforests. The education our children are receiving at Warren is above and beyond anything they will get anywhere else. I am very confident that Zoie and her classmates will excel when they make the switch to elementary school. The confidence they have developed will allow them to adapt easily. I’m grateful to Warren for the education my daughter has received, for the friends she has made, and for the love she receives not only from the teachers in her classroom, but from every teacher and employee in the school."

- Brandi B. Carter

"The teachers in Infant 1 are fabulous!! I used to visit the classroom regularly at lunches and there was never a time where a child was left crying unattended. When I visited other schools, I felt like the children didn’t get the attention they needed. That’s not the case at Warren . When I drop off Nathan at Warren , I know he’s cared for and loved. And you can tell he loves the teachers by the way his face lights up when he sees them!"

To parents that are considering Warren Montessori School for their child:
I am writing this letter of my own accord to highly recommend Warren Montessori for any child from birth into grade school. Having had my son enrolled at Warren for 2 ½ years and also being in a public school teacher myself with 19 years of experience; I feel that I can objectively speak about the quality of this wonderful school. The Montessori Method is an amazingly successful method of teaching and learning through the use of all the child's senses and the world around him. He is taught the everyday task of how to care for himself and have respect and caring for others. The child is taught respect for nature, the environment, and people from all countries and cultures. The children at Warren Montessori are given the tools for understanding and tolerance at a very early age. The Montessori Method speaks for itself; I would now like to say a few words about this particular school. When we first came to Warren, my husband and I were not sure what to expect, since our son at the age of 3 years had never been in a so-called "structured environment''. It took only 2 weeks or so before I began to see miraculous changes. Scott had always been a smart and happy child, but he was definitely not used to having to conform to a schedule or be patient and considerate of others! Each day when I came to pick him up, Scott would tell me something wonderful about school, and it usually had to do with others should be treated. I was very impressed by this, and he began acting out at home what he was being taught at school. He began to show true caring and concern for his twin sister, who has special needs. I always knew Scott was intelligent, but the learning and growing that he demonstrated while at Warren far surpassed my wildest dreams. He brought home folder after folder virtually stuffed with knowledge, curiosity, and creativity. The teachers do not limit the students in their learning; there IS no limit. Each child progresses at their own rate and the teachers encourage the children to help each other in the classroom. Scott is now reading short books and many compound and complex words, writing letters and words clearly, and can sound out blended consonants with ease. He will enter kindergarten this fall, but I have often seen him work at a 1st or 2nd grade level. Perhaps the biggest impact that Scotts experience at Warren has had on me in particular is how much the teachers and staff care about the physical, social, and emotional well being of each child. The teachers are passionate about loving and teaching children; this is very obvious. The owners and staff are extremely competent and conscientious as they the children and parents. It is with admiration that I give my unqualified recommendation of Warren Montessori School in Frisco. My husband and I would not have wanted anything less for our child.

"We are very pleased with Samantha's progress at school. There appears to be a very nice balance of academics and fun and Samantha very much enjoys her time at school. We feel that she will be well prepared to handle the next level of education and also be able to indecent socially at a high level due to her time here at Warren Montessori. We appreciate all of your hard work and effort.Thank you!"

"We are really pleased with the progress that Sydney is making, especially with writing her name. We can see the improvement each day. We can see her growing and maturing with the comments she makes at home. We know that the Montessori approach to teaching has played a major part in that. Thank you . We truly appreciate you"

"Ethan is doing great. I was very impressed with his reading and spelling. You are doing a great job! Keep up the great work! Thank you for all you do for Ethan."

"We are very pleased with the environment. We are especially happy with Scotts reading and spelling."

"My daughter was here for a year, and when she left it felt a lot longer. The reason was that she and I both developed such amazing relationships that it was very sad to see her leave and join a Public School. Warren Montesorri (especially Ms Sandra) gave her a basis in life long education which I hope serves her all her life. They have been instrumental in Tasha's basics; in education, behavior and creativity."

- Neenu Thussu

"Thank you for everything! As you can see you all have made a huge difference in Kevin’s education. I can not tell you how much we’ve enjoyed our time at Warren."

"This letter is from Debbie Hotson PISD Teacher to Michelle Currier, Kevin Currier’s Mom"

Hi Michelle,

Kevin has just been growing and growing in his reading, and I to share his accomplishment with you! Kevin took a STAR reading test on Friday. After taking the test, I had an exact zone in which Kevin can read. He is reading between a 1st and 2nd grade level. I put a copy of the diagnostic report from the test in his red folder on Monday. That gives you an idea of how he is doing and how you can help him. Kevin will no longer read in a reading group with me. He will now read books straight from the library. He can begin taking Accelerated Reading test on his library books. That is the reading program that the 1st – 5th grade kids are on. I will get Kevin a list of books that will stay in his library folder. He will choose two books off the list when he goes to the library. One book will a free read book that he reads for enjoyment. The other book will be for his AR test. I will put a list in his reading binder that lets you know which books he used for testing and how he did on the test. I will get that all fixed up this week. Kevin can go to the library (once a day) as many days as he wants to. He will set his own tempo. I’m so proud of him.

My daughter, Olivia, has been attending Warren since January 2009 when she was four months old.  My husband, daughter and I have had such a wonderful and positive experience at Warren.  The first day I brought Olivia to school, she opened her arms to Ms. Akram (Infant I Teacher) while I was holding her.  It made going back to work so much easier knowing she felt comfortable and safe.
Months later I remember taking Olivia to a scheduled doctor’s appointment (around 4 pm) and the doctor asked me if they kept her clean at school.  I told him she was in the same outfit from the morning and she just came from school.  He was so impressed with how clean they kept her throughout the day.  I recall her getting a little food on an outfit sometimes and each time they took such pride with her and made sure to change her outfit so she was clean.  Olivia has been a very healthy child and I contribute that to how much they clean the classrooms, toys and their hands.

When Olivia moved up to Infant II she fell in love with Ms. Gabby and then in the Pre-Toddler class she absolutely loved Ms. Betty.  Ms. Betty is such a calming and compassionate teacher that absolutely loves Pre-Toddlers.  She is teaching the right age group and it shows with how she loves the children.  In Infant II and Pre-Toddler, Olivia learned how to drink out of a glass and eat properly.  Recently my father commented on never seeing a child being such a clean eater as Olivia.  I contribute a lot of that to Warren and the devotion they have shown to educating the children on how to properly eat.  This is also carried over in other areas of teaching.

Olivia was moved up to the Toddler class in October and she is now with Ms. Shazia and Ms. Sepedih, both wonderful women who show such love for the children and their job.  Currently she is learning Spanish on Wednesday’s, read to daily, going to music class on Monday’s and learning how to cook (for her age).  I could not ask for anything more.  My husband and I believe in the Montessori teaching (he is a high school teacher) and are thrilled we chose to have Olivia attend Warren.  We are currently expecting our second child and look forward to our new little one starting the same experience as Olivia next January.

The experienced and professional staff at Warren Montessori Academy truly came through on January 24. I arrived and immediately realized the staff was dealing with an emergency and later realized that a young student fainted and was somewhat disoriented when he did awake. While I waited in the reception area, the Director, Ms Binny, and her staff kept the student secluded and safe until the paramedics arrived just minutes later. In the meantime, the School Administrator, Ms Jessica, made frequent contact with the parents via phone on the situation and informed them of the hospital where their son was transported by ambulance. A staff member also left in the ambulance to watch over the young  student and deal with the details until the parents would be able to arrive at the hospital.

The Warren Montessori staff has always extended a warm and professional reception over the past several years since we have been their uniform partner. It came as no surprise to me that the procedures and steps they followed in this emergency were exceptionally carried out and showed their expertise and training as a caring and competent school community.

Jessica-
We have made our final decision & have decided to enroll our soon to arrive infant at your school.  The selection process was not difficult & below are the reasons for our final decision:
·        Diversity - we appreciate that the school had students from various ethnic backgrounds and that a variety of cultural holidays seem to be discussed & respected
·        Vegetarian Friendly - other providers offer veggie options, but they aren't listed on the menu.  Since children want what others have, we felt more reassured that veggie options were plentiful once our little one reached toddler age
·        Lack of Distractions - Other providers have murals all over the walls, swings/exersaucers/etc. in the infant rooms & while at first glance it appears festive, upon evaluation those things seem distracting & may not help children learn   to be comfortable without all the entertainment
·        Changing room & kitchen separate from the infant room - Other providers had the changing station in the middle of the room & we didn't care for that
·         Ability to keep child at the school through 3rd grade should we choose
·        Learning Philosophy - Liked how the older students were working at their own pace on different things vs in other centers all were on identical schedules without a lot of customization based on the needs of the child
·        Director seemed very passionate about her work & the school whereas others seemed to be punching a clock
·        Pricing - For your information the current annualized prices are:
·    Primrose Academy - $14,560 first year including a $50 enrollment fee (discounted from $100)
·    Kiddie Kollege - $13,740 first year including $300 annual enrollment for supplies
·    Tutor Time - $13,520 first year including $100 enrollment fee that goes toward first month's tuition
·    Kids R Kids - $13,620 first year including $100 registration fee
·    Goddard School - $12,864 first year including $150 annual fee for supplies & a $200 discount for months 2, 4 & 6
·    TLC - $12,680 first year with $75 registration fee waived--price includes $60 per month for diapers & wipes
·    Warren Montessori - $11,937 first year including $100 application fee, $475 deposit & $22 badging fee

I want to assure you that pricing was NOT the deciding factor.  We actually found no correlation in the pricing & quality of center--some of the higher priced centers are the ones we liked the least.
Thanks!

Our daughter Kelsie has been going to Warren Montessori School since she was 3 months old.  We can not say enough good things about the nurturing, caring environment at Warren, as well as the intellectually stimulating atmosphere of the classrooms, including the fabulous Elementary program under Ms. Suzanne.

When Kelsie entered the Elementary Program at Warren she had just started learning to read.  Over the next few months in Elementary, we were shocked at how fast her reading level progressed.  We continue to be surprised at what Kelsie comes home and tells us she has been learning in school.  Ms. Suzanne is very loving and caring to all her students, and her classroom fosters a passion for learning.  Ms. Suzanne has a lot of great experience, and it shows in her classroom curriculum and organization.  She checks all the students work and signs and dates the materials before sending them home to the parents for review, so we always know what Kelsie has been doing and how she is progressing.

Our plan had always been to start Kelsie in public school last year, but she was doing so well in the Elementary program and learning so much we couldn’t bear to pull her out!  We hope to send Kelsie’s younger brother Kaiden into the program in the coming years as well.

Our story is an interesting one, we had our child enrolled at Warren at a young age. We made the decision after a year to move our child to another "Traditional" day care center because a close friend had their children there.  There was no comparison, we saw a huge difference in that the independent learning model at Warren which allowed our child to learn at both an accelerated and normal level depending on his learning style and strengths.  Warren's Montessori method curriculum was also very sensorial based so instead of using rote memorization our son was using more logic and problem solving techniques to both practical life and academic situations.  We also liked the fact that at certain stages of our child's development because there was a mix of ages in the class there were times where our son was a follower and learned from the older children, then as he matured he became a leader to his younger classmates.  We also had suggestions that we felt would benefit our child's classroom experience and Binny the director and the teachers were supportive and flexible because they put our Childs development first.  Our only regret with our son's education at Warren is that we made the mistake of switching to another school.  We are so thankful we were able to see huge differences in the learning model of Montessori and other programs and re-enrolled him back to Warren.  We know first hand that Warren Montessori has exceeded our expectations and allowed our son the finest developmental learning environment possible.

Dear Ms. Jessica,

I just wanted to send a quick note to say how much I appreciate Ms. Yessica and Ms. Sharon. During my brief meeting with Ms. Yessica, I told her that my son knew his letters and he might benefit from working on his sounds. She immediately checked my son's level, identified the letters he has trouble with and started working with him. Within one week, what a difference this has made. My son enjoys sounding out all his letters and is more confident in the early literacy activities that we do at home.  I am thankful to both of his teachers for the wonderful job they have done with my son.

Additionally, although my son started only in August, within a short period of time, he adjusted very well to school thanks to the care and attention he has received from his teachers. Both Ms. Yessica and Ms. Sharon are very professional, kind and caring.  I cannot thank them enough.

Best Regards,

Dear Team at Warren Montessori,
Thank you so much for welcoming my three little girls into the Warren family.  It has been a blessing to be a part!
When I first walked into Warren Montessori, it felt like home.  I was impressed when Miss Dianna took me on a tour of the school and all of the children looked so happy and engaged.  There was learning taking place in all classrooms no matter the age!  The environment was clean and well maintained.  All of the food is made on site and smells fantastic!  The carpool lane has become one of my favorites!  It is SO much easier for the girls to walk away from me than for me to walk away from them!  Wow!
MacKenna is our oldest and she started in the Primary 1 class.  When I came to pick her up from her first day a little early, she begged me to stay longer!  Wow!
My middle daughter, Malynn, was the one I was most concerned with starting a new school.  She has absolutely flourished in her new class, Toddler 2. She has really taken to the Montessori methods and she uses them at home all the time.  Wow!
My youngest daughter, Meghan, started in the Infant 2 class.  Since I had been home with her for so long, I was worried she would not take to a classroom setting very well.  The teachers really made the transition so smooth!  I felt so comfortable leaving her; as I knew she was in wonderful caring hands.  She just blossomed!  Wow!
Being a Warren Montessori family has been a rewarding and encouraging experience for us all.  Whenever I meet parents with young children, I brag about my daughters' school!
A heartfelt Thank You to Miss Binny, Miss Jessica, and Miss Dianna for taking such good care of us and our precious children.  All of the teachers have been amazing!
Sincerely,
Jolynn Wyborny
Mom to MacKenna (5 years), Malynn (2 years), and Meghan (18 months)

I am very happy to send both my daughters to Warren. The first impression which I had was how big and spacious the facility is. Every classroom is huge and full of informative stuff for kids to learn. They've hardly fallen sick ever since they started going to Warren, because the rooms are spacious and kept clean.

I am really pleased with the friendliness of the staff, everybody is so positive and full of energy. It is just like an extended family. I see a difference in my 5 year old , she asks questions and wants to help me at home. The practical life taught at the school has helped her a lot in making her independent practically and in her thinking too.

My 2.5 years old surprises us every other day with things she learns in the school.

I would recommend Warren to parents any time.

Thanks,
Sukh.

I’ve been extremely impressed with the content and meaningfulness of the learning that’s been taking place in my daughter’s P1 classroom. From the real-life lessons and application, to the actual academic content, I’ve really enjoyed seeing the overall development of my daughter. As a teacher, I kept my 4 year-old daughter home with me for the summer. When she began again at the end of summer (last week of July), she came home at the end of the first week writing her name! Just 4 weeks into the school year (last week of August), she began reading most of the words in the “BOB” books all by herself!!! I was so surprised and thrilled for her! I know this is due to the dedication of her teachers and richness of experiences she is receiving daily at Warren! Thank you!
